Yeah we should turn off the server until we get the perms back. Else there is not much point. If they restore everything it may be a rollback anyhow.

I have reopened the support ticket again. Hope they take a look for real this time.

I think we're extremely lucky if they have a backup, as reading in their FAQ they have a question if they have backups, and they kind of don't answer at all.

Turning off the server without it coming back by itself is apparently not so easy, but I've tried again.

Yay, they have replied, but have not mentioned what they have done, just something like "try to restart the server now". Well, that's what I have done. Also we're running the new 1.3.2 RB just for the heck of it. It is worth letting it sit there for a day to make sure that they have fixed it this time, cause in every crash we lose data.

"Can you confirm that your server is online?". It would probably just take them 5 seconds to check that."Try again now" they probably didn't even do anything. Saying they fixed stuff whilst the same problem still remain.

Yes, this is likely exactly what they are doing.

The server has now been up for 8 hours, but it was that yesterday too so let's see if it can stand 8 hours more. Also, npc-profiles.yml is empty, but we do have the quests...!

Bukkit seems to clear a bunch of random files when it runs out of disk space. It tries to save the files it has in memory, but when it can't write them to disk it just goes "oh well I couldn't write it so it must be empty now. Saving empty files. Enjoy!"

Many of you should have your permissions back now. Huzzah!

Anyway I have to repeat: Don't start any big projects. If we crash again, you'll (probably) lose most things you do right now. The world itself seems to survive the crashes, which is good.

Well, my name is gray. Town spawn travel is disabled, /home was reset to the /warp tutorial, /warp doesnt work, /msg doesnt work, the texture pack doesnt want to download...
