We are finally back from vacation and we can start to update the server and maintain it more actively. Here is a few unmentioned/New features we currently have:

Newbie Tutorial

We have made it so that whenever a new player joins the server he will be teleported to the one-time tutorial where they will get an introduction to World of Boon and its features. A newbie player will have a gray color name and will not have permissions to most of the stuff on our server before he passes the tutorial at the end and its quiz. This is a good way for us to filter away the griefers and all unwanted players so that we can keep World of Boon a nice and calm Community.

You can always have access to the Tutorial with /warp tutorial.



World of Boon YOUTUBE

Yeah so we have a World of Boon youtube channel where we will post tutorials, showcases or anything else related to our server.

VOTING

If you feel like supporting World of Boon but do not have anything to donate we really appreciate voting for different Minecraft top servers that we are on. You can vote on 5 different websites each 24-hour and each vote gives you a 1000 XP in game.

CCTV

You can now create CCTV cameras and use them as security for your household or for stalking other households. Dispensers are used as a camera and Black wool would be considered a screen. So once you link the camera and the wool, you can right click the screen to see from the eye of the camera.

DynMap

We have recently installed a World map which allows you to see the WHOLE World of Boon: nether, the end, creative and survival world.

Conny made a tutorial of how you use the Map to the fullest:



Note: We had to remove player tracking on the Dynmap since it was being abused.



Creative constructions to Survival

If you made a really cool building in Creative we can copy it and paste it to a random unknown location, unprotected. This allows Survival players to be able to explore, claim and get a really cool experience, discovering something really cool in the world.
The original copy of the construction will always remain untouched in the Creative world so there is no worry.
If you want your construction to be moved somewhere to the survival world, contact an Owner, Head Game Master or Overseer and he/she will help you if there is time for it.



Spleef Gold

We have a new spleef arena created by TaurenRogueLol.
It is a bigger spleef arena with 2 layers of snow and 5 times the stake! So for each time someone joins there will be 1000 deposited to the Jackpot which the winner gets. So this spleef is only for high gamblers!
We are planning to add a Spleef Diamond where the stake will be 5000 but that remain to be announced.



Bounty hunting

You are now able to go bounty hunting for Money! Every time an innocent player get killed by another player, the murderer gets a bounty of 1000 Money. When ever a player kills a player that has got a bounty on his head, he gets the sum of the bounty.
You can check for all players with bounties with: /bounties

You can also set your own bounty on another player with /bounty <playername> amount

So: /bounty Beldrama 20000 Will remove 20000 out of your balance instantly and be given to the person who killed Beldrama.

Mob Arenas

People are currently working on Mob Arenas so expect to be able to fight waves on monsters pretty soon.



War Hub

The very oooold veteran World of Boon players might recall that we had a War Hub which allowed us to have Capture the Flag fights. We are planning on getting this back because it was such a huge success!



Tier 3 classes and Angel class


Right now the Max level is 60 for each class. Since we are back home we will start working on the tier 3 classes and make the Max level 100.

We will then add a final class which will lead to the REAL End game quests that unravels the World of Boon mysteries. This class will be called Angel and will only be accessible for those who mastered (Got level 100) on ALL 4 paths. So this is no easy matter and you will need to spend a lot of time and dedication to reach that far.

buuuuut... This Angel class will be added much later when we have gotten all Tier 3 quests up, Mob Arena, Warhub and probably a server upgrade.
